Initially, having an on-screen interface to control the brightness of your monitor may sound like a good idea, since Windows hasn't such an application in any of its versions.
The program is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese. Thinking that I was doing something wrong, I tried downloading the Spanish version and use it on a machine with Windows 7 in that language. Again, all my attempts to make it work failed.
As I said earlier, the idea of having an onscreen brightness control is good, but for some reason, this program does not live up to its promises.

I wonder why it didn't work for the reviewer? The program looks the most promising for me to use on Windows 7 because it almost looks like a native program (not obviously 3rd party).Perhaps it's a bitness thing? Additionally, Brightness gadgets I have tried (yes, gadgets!), sometimes need a certain net framework update before they work properly - maybe that's what was missing?

I love this little brightness adjustment app. Far less complicated than the Windows version and more accessible!The only thing that could make this better is if it were time-integrated, changing brightness on a schedule, or ambient-light-integrated, changing brightness depending on backlighting.
